Helpful information for your Rainforest Campsite stay
After-hours Emergency
In the event of an after hours issue or noise complaint, call our Duty Manager on 5533 3622 and press 9 to be transferred. For evacuations, assemble at the lawn in front of Groom’s Cottage & Bushwalker’s Bar. For serious or life threatening emergencies, dial 000.
BBQs
There are 6 free to use hot plate barbecues available for all guests to use at Binna Burra. You can find them throughout our campsite and in the National Park public use areas.
Guest Laundry/Kitchen
Located in the campsite amenities block, the guest laundry has washing machines and dryers. Laundry powder is available at reception on request. There is also a microwave in this room as well as hot water and wash up sinks.Â
Boiling Water
There are boiling water urns available for all guests to use in the laundry/washup amenities building in the campsite. Please use caution when using these urns.Â
Wash Up Facilities
You can find our wash-up facilities in the laundry and amenities building mentioned above.Â
History of Binna Burra
Binna Burra was built in 1933 and has a rich history of sustainability and adventure. Read more about the history of Binna Burra here
No Smoking
This is a smoke-free zone. We do not allow smoking in the Sky Lodges or campsite, on the balconies, or the immediate surroundings. A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged if there is evidence of smoking. We appreciate your cooperation in this instance.

Bar
Bar service is open and available at both the Binna Burra Tea House and the Groom’s Cottage ‘Bushwalker’s Bar‘ – Click on their links to view the opening hours and menu for each venue.

Reception & Shop Hours
A range of gifts, clothing items and self guiding brochures pertaining to the surrounding walking tracks can be found in the gift shop and purchased at reception.
Monday – Sunday: 8am – 5pm
Takeaway food packs
You can purchase some delicious locally sourced BBQ packs from the Tea House. Note, there is at least a 2 hour wait on takeaway BBQ packs so please order in advance.
