Stakeholder Consultation – New Lodge and Accommodation
Update on the design of the new lodge and accommodation.
- The Lodge Design Committee (LDC) has been working hard to keep the initial concept of a two story lodge and the building of 36 rooms within the $18 million grant funds from the Queensland Government. The continuing dramatic increase in construction costs has required the need for major re-designs to match the funds available. Accordingly, the Board has accepted the LDC recommendation to revise the plan and design a single story lodge and keep the 36 rooms permissible under our local planning rules.
- The new single story lodge design concepts will be shared with shareholders for feedback during an online workshop on Thursday 17 August at 5.30 pm start (Queensland time).
