How to Get Here

Our Location

The journey to Binna Burra from Brisbane or the Gold Coast is a convenient and straightforward drive on all–bitumen roads. The drive takes approximately 90 minutes from Brisbane and 40 minutes from the Gold Coast. Upon arrival, you will find yourself 800m above sea level at the end of Binna Burra Road, where you will find Binna Burra Lodge.

Please be aware that there is no public transport available in Binna Burra, and we are not serviced by taxis or ride share. It is important to organise private return transfers prior to your visit.

Binna Burra Lodge is at the end of Binna Burra Road – once you’re on it, please ignore your SAT Nav (and even google maps) – just drive all the way to the end! You’ll know when you’re here!

If travelling on the Pacific Motorway (M1): Take the Nerang exit (exit 69 Southound or exit 73 Northbound) and follow the signs Nerang West/Binna Burra. Take the turn-off to Beechmont and head straight up to the top of the mountain.

If travelling south from Brisbane on the Mt Lindsay Highway (Beaudesert Rd), turn left at Jimboomba on to Mundoolun Connection Rd at the service station. On reaching the T intersection, turn left towards Tamborine/Beenleigh; after 2km turn right to Canungra. (If travelling from Beaudesert follow the Gold Coast signs to Canungra.) Once at Canungra, follow the signs 19km to Beechmont and 10km from the roundabout to Binna Burra Lodge.
